Overview

The Vulnerabilities level is still showing in red after the vulnerabilities have been acknowledged.

Root Cause

The client computer is scanning for vulnerabilities using a different scan profile from the profile that had the vulnerabilities acknowledged or ignored.

Process

1. Log in to GFI LanGuard.
2. Remove all the rules within the Rules Manager for a client computer.
3. Scan the client computer using the Full Scan or Full Vulnerability assessment scan profile.
4. Acknowledge all the displayed vulnerabilities for the selected client computer.
5. Scan the client computer again using the Full Scan or Full Vulnerability assessment scan profile and verify the vulnerability level.
