Overview

GFI LanGuard allows machines to be added in a number of ways.

This article guides you on how to add a machine to the GFI LanGuard console using the IP address range.

Process

1. Open the GFI LanGuard console and go to Scan.
2. Choose the ellipsis button next to the Scan Target field.
3. Key in a name for the group.
4. Click the hyperlink Add new rule.
5. Change the drop down to IP address range is.
6. Set up the IP address range to be scanned.
7. Click OK twice.
8. Choose the Network Discovery scan profile.
9. Make sure the credentials being used are correct for the IP addresses desired.
10. Click Scan.
