Overview

During a Remediation, one of the patches fails to install and the below error message is displayed:

Fatal error during installation (1603)

Resolution

Deploy the patch(es) using a domain account as shown below:

NOTE: Make sure the account listed has the Log on as a service right on all machines you are remediating.
