Customer is using agents for scanning but the scans do not appear in the Dashboard > Activity Monitor

How to Identify
1. Check some of the agents' servers\\ directory and see if there are scan result XML files listed (format is yyyymmddhhmmss.xml). This is where the agent puts the scan results. * Location is C:\ProgramData\GFI\LanGuard 11\Servers\\ (or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GFI\LanGuard 11\Servers\\ on a 2003 class computer) 2. Check the customers toolcfg_agentmanagersettings.xml in the GFI LanGuard server's ProgramData directory: C:\ProgramData\GFI\LanGuard 11\ (or C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GFI\LanGuard 11\ on a 2003 class computer) 3. Open and check if it only has headers and footers like this: - 4. It should be like shown below:
Workaround / Fix Details
If the settings are missing, send the customer a copy from your machine or use the below settings which are standard. The developers have fixed this in LanGuard 2012 SR1 (build 20121127)
Required Actions
1. Check to make sure the conditions apply 2. Give the customer the replacement toolcfg_agentmanagersettings.xml 3. Have them update to GFI LanGuard 2012 SR1 (build 20121127)
