Statistics settings also affect the monitoring of the volume of transferred data against the user's quotas. If you uncheck the Gather internet usage statistics option, Kerio Control cannot count the transferred data against user's quotas.
  3. Enable Gather user's activity records under Statistics.

Warning: This option allows the monitoring and logging of the browsing activity of individual users. Please, keep in mind that whether it is legal to gather users' activities or not varies by country. Before setting this option, make sure that the laws in your jurisdiction area permit it, and if in doubt, contact your legal department. Disable this option to reduce demands on the firewall and to save disk space on the server.

  4. Use the Delete statistics older than field to specify how long the data will be kept.

Note: To save disk space, keep statistics only as long as necessary.
  5. Select the appropriate groups, if any, in the Gather group statistics for these groups field, to gather statistical data for one or more groups of users.

  6. Under the Accounting periods for statistics and quota section, set the First day of the week and First day of the month fields.

For example, a month can start on day 15 of the calendar month and end on day 14 of the following month. The first day of the month also sets when the monthly transferred data counter of individual users is set to zero.
  7. To save the changes, click Apply.
