This article provides relevant information for cases where either the Kaspersky and BitDefender definition file is frequently updating.

Information

When running versions that have the Kaspersky and BitDefender anti-virus engine enabled, the administrator will receive a notification of virus definition updates every one to three hours.

It is the policy of both Kaspersky and BitDefender to release virus definition updates at least eight times a day (every 3 hours). These updates may, on certain occasions, be more frequent, depending on the severity and rate of spread of new viruses.
