This article provides a summary of the limitations of the Dialogic Brooktrout SR140 and SR140-L licenses.

Please Note

• Dialogic no longer supports any SDK prior to 6.7.0 (included with GFI FaxMaker 2014)
• Microsoft Windows Server 2003 is supported by GFI FaxMaker but IS NOT supported by Dialogic for SDK 6.7.0

The SR140-L (Light) version of the Dialogic Brooktrout SR140 software is restricted to a maximum of 8 channels of sending/receiving faxes, it does not support G.711 pass-through mode or the V.34 standard (allowing up to 33.8 kbps transmission speed).

SR140 Version

Density: 2 to 120 channels per system
Fax transmission: ITU T.38; G.711 pass-through
Fax Modems: ITU T.30 Group 3 V.34, V.17, V.29, V.27ter, V.21 and V.33 modulation with auto fallback

SR140-L Version 

Density: 2 to 8 channels per system
Fax transmission: ITU T.38
Fax Modems: ITU T.30 Group 3 V.17, V.29, V.27ter, V.21 and V.33 modulation with auto fallback
