Overview
When trying to change the name associated with the previous employee, the user account details can be changed through Kerio Connect Webadmin. The email account username should be kept as original mailbox name. The recipients are still seeing the old name of the legacy employee.
Prerequisites
Access to the Kerio Connect Administration
Solution
- Login to Kerio Connect Administration and navigate to Accounts -> Users.
- Double-click the necessary user to edit the details. Specify the new Full Name and click on the OK button.
Confirmation
The Full name for the necessary user was changed and displayed correctly in the Webmail.
Config logs are showing a similar output:
Update User {Name="john", DomainName="domain.com", emailAddresses={}, fullName="Joe Public"}
