Creating Filters in Kerio Connect

Overview

Messages delivered to Kerio Connect Client are stored in the Inbox folder. If you have created any additional folders, you can move messages from the inbox folder to these additional folders.

This article provides instructions on how to create new filters to automatically sort messages into folders or forward them to another address.

Note: This information is valid for Kerio Connect 8.5 and above.

 

Process

  1. Open the Kerio Connect Client.

  2. Click Tools > Settings (on a Windows Client), or Kerio Connect > Settings (on a Mac Client), or your name > Settings (on the Web Client).

  3. In the Filters section, click New Filter.

  4. Type a name for the Filter.

  5. Set the conditions for the Filter. Use a comma or semi-colon to separate multiple items.

  6. Set the action to be taken.

  7. You can also select the Skip other rules option.

  8. Click Save.

You can also Edit and Delete the custom created filters.



Confirmation

Check if the messages are automatically sorted into destination folders or forwarded to the correct addresses.
