Problem Summary

Internet Explorer 9 is actually installed but LanGuard reports that on the computer Internet Explorer 10 is installed and that Internet Explorer 11 is missing.

How to Identify

1. Internet Explorer 9 is installed on a machine. 2. The results of the LanGuard scan show Internet Explorer 10 is installed and Internet Explorer 11 is misisng.

Workaround / Fix Details

This issue has been fixed in LanGuard 2015 (version 11.4 - build 20150130) PSG has a patch for this issue located here: ftp://ftp.gfisoftware.com/patches/LG2014/HotFix/LANGUARD112_HOTFIX_20140530_01.zip This patch will cause the scan results to report: Internet Explorer 9 is installed (correctly) Internet Explorer 10 is missing Internet Explorer 11 is missing The customer can choose either Internet Explorer 10 or 11 to deploy
