Do updates to the vulnerabilities database overwrite my custom vulnerabilities?

When upgrading to a new build or version of GFI LANguard, it is possible to decide whether to:

• Replace custom vulnerabilities
• Rename customer vulnerabilities
• Keep the old vulnerabilities

When new updates to the vulnerabilities database are released and the vulnerabilities are downloaded automatically, only the new updates are updated to the vulnerabilities database. Existing vulnerabilities are not changed, therefore your custom vulnerabilities will remain intact.
