Overview

The settings are saved successfully when approving patches but when you move away from this configuration section and come back, some of the previously approved patches show as not approved.

This issue has been identified as cosmetic, and the patches show as not approved in the interface only. When we look at toolcfg_autoremediation, these patches are listed in this file. This means that they are approved for deployment.

LanGuard 2011 build 20110509

Root Cause

This cosmetic issue is a product defect which has been resolved in LanGuard 2011 SR1.

Resolution

Please upgrade to LanGuard 2011 SR1 or higher to resolve this issue. If an upgrade is not feasible currently, you can view the configuration file toolcfg_autoremediation as a workaround. This file lists all approved patches and will be deployed as configured.
