How to Identify

Some files are getting corrupted when downloaded with GFI Webmonitor 2015 and later versions. It is more noticeable with PDFs, but it can affect other files. The policies for this files has the option "Download progress windows" enabled. Disabling this option the download completed fine.

Workaround / Fix Details

Advise the user to disable the "Download progress window" option in the policy Explain to the client that the AV will still scan the files, it is only the download page that will not appear, all the security features will still be in place.
